What is mentoring or mentorship?

Mentorship is a relationship in which a more experienced or more knowledgeable person helps to guide a less experienced or less knowledgeable person. The mentor may be older or younger than the person being mentored, but he or she must have a certain area of expertise It is a learning and development partnership between someone with vast experience and someone who wants to learn  Interaction with an expert may also be necessary to gain proficiency with/in cultural tools. Mentorship experience and relationship structure affect the "amount of psychosocial support, career guidance, role modeling, and communication that occurs in the mentoring relationships in which the protégés and mentors engaged."

The person in receipt of mentorship may be referred to as a protégé (male), a protégée (female), an apprentice or, in the 2000s, a mentee. The mentor may be referred to as a godfather or godmother

Do you want to mentor anyone?

Are you an engineer, 30+,  with at least 7 years of experience in the engineering domain and passionate about technology, recent developments in engineering management? Are you interested in taking the country forward through the coming generation? Do you want to educate younger people about anything that will help them and the nation as such?

To begin with, we will focus on infrastructure, civil engineering, and developmental issues. Would you like to contribute towards how to take the nation forward?

Gathering Mentors

I am gathering mentors at this stage who must spare 2 hours a week to mentor one or a few more candidates at one time. I will be happy to hear from people who are involved in new technologies. We lecture at engineering colleges too, to educate young budding engineers.

I have PMC experts,  experts in high precision products and professional services in the field of Surveying, GIS, Marine and Civil Engineering Instrumentation technology and Quality & ISO experts in the engineering field currently. I am looking out for more. Please do not expect monetary returns out of this, but yes, you can make great contacts and remember you are contributing to the next generation and to the society. If you are above 50 and know a few things about engineering- hands-on / practically / thoroughly, please join me in my way of nation-building. All of us have some responsibility to our country.

Yes, I would like to contribute as a mentor
